Wow. My thesis is 76 pages.

Luckily that’s double-spaced.

But really — wow! I’m shocked (pleasantly so) that I’ve managed to get 76 pages. Peggy said to me this morning, “You should trim some from the ‘dragons’ section,” and I thought, “Trim? Wha? Why?” Well. Heh. I haven’t even written a good chunk of the other theoretical part of the thesis and it’s 76 pages. I was aiming for 70-80 initially for the final project! Well. I think it might end up being 100. But I don’t really care, actually, so long as it sounds and flows fantastically. It’ll be however long it’ll be. Peggy is lovely, though. She reads a lot and puts up with me every week! I can’t give her enough credit for all the enthusiasm and amazing passion she’s put into this thesis. A lot of it comes from me but without her this project would never have gotten off the ground.

I’ve been working a lot lately — and sleeping a lot, too — but this week I’m determined to do a lot of work. DETERMINED! Spring Break will be my bitch. Heh. Well, not really. But that’s the idea.

My list of things to do:
- do crazy thesis work (about 15ish single spaced pages, at least)
- write a full-length screenplay
- write a 10-15 page dinner scene for screenwriting
- read “Magnolia,” the screenplay
- write an entire, amazing short story

If that doesn’t take my every waking moment of this entire week, I don’t know what else will…

But hopefully this work will be fun, in a challenging, exciting kind of way. I’m eager to get writing.
